OHIO concludes IEW with Awards for Excellence in Global Engagement  McKenzie Powell | Nov 24
Ohio University’s International Education Week concluded by recognizing three members of the OHIO community for their excellence in global engagement. Awards were given to Amritjit Singh, an OHIO Langston Hughes professor of English and African American Studies; Gerard Krzix, director of the Ohio Program of Intensive English; and David Andrew Strobel, an Ohio University alumnus who is currently working with earthquake response teams in Chile.  Read more

Indo-American friendship day dinner leaves mark in Athens  Marisa Fernandez Oct 27
The 28th annual Indo-American Friendship Day dinner cemented relations between the domestic and international populations of Athens. Amid performances by a Bharatanatyam dancer, John Lennon tribute, and children’s dance group, the Friends of India raised $5,000 to donate to the Amesville Elementary School library. Read more
