Women’s and Gender Studies provides an opportunity to explore the phenomenon of gender and its intersection with race, ethnicity, class, sexuality, and other elements of diversity. The program is interdisciplinary, which makes for a rich variety of course offerings across many fields. Students may choose from over 70 courses with more than 70 core and affiliated faculty from 17 departments.
The Women’s and Gender Studies Program offers a Bachelor of Arts degree as well as both undergraduate and graduate certificates, in addition to a wide variety of individual courses, many of which focus on global feminisms and sexuality studies.
