Web Services at Ohio University

The goal of Web Sevices is to help Ohio University’s academic and administrative units interact more efficiently and effectively with online audiences. Web Services is comprised of the Web Team, located in the Office of Information Technology (OIT), and the Web Team has a partership with University Communications and Marketing (UCM) to ensure that the University's branding standards are enforced within the web sites we produce.

The Web Team can also assist individuals and student organizations to create an maintain web sites.

We are in the process of migrating academic and administrative websites into OHIO’s content management system, CommonSpot. This allows anyone in your department to be trained to easily keep information on your website fresh without coding or designing and ensures a consistent design and adherence to brand standards.

There is a waiting list to migrate current websites or start a new website in CommonSpot.
