Ohio University Executive Leadership Institute
The Ohio University Executive Leadership Institute (OUELI) offers programs that address the complex issues facing public and nonprofit-sector leaders. The Institute’s flagship program, Leading with Vision, Value and Strategy, encourages participants to see their role as public value creators who must balance their political environment, the organization’s operational needs and ensure the organization creates value--all at the same time.
The curriculum is based on the Strategic Triangle, a concept developed by Professor Mark Moore at Harvard University. Presented around the country to diverse audiences, Leading with Vision, Value and Strategy immerses participants in case study discussions, lectures and group exercises that explore the multidimensional function of public leadership in today’s world. The course is taught by Ohio University faculty and practitioner experts in the areas of strategy, high-performance organizations, political communication and performance measurement.
