Ohio University PTAC hires staff for Dayton service area

(Athens – July 7, 2014) Ohio University’s Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs recently hired Mr. William Cox as the new Procurement Specialist to serve clientele in Dayton and the surrounding counties in our Dayton Procurement Technical Assistance Center.
Mr. Cox joins the University having worked as a former PTAC director and having earned his VA counselor certification. Mr. Cox is a retired Colonel of the US Air Force and has substantial private procurement experience. He has life cycle procurement experience from market research, acquisition strategy and solicitation package development, to source selection and program execution.
The PTAC is operated by the Voinovich School through the Center for Entrepreneurship and opened the new office on Nov. 18. PTAC now has six offices located in Athens, Akron, Cincinnati, Columbus, Dayton, and Lancaster, serving 55 counties.
In Dayton, PTAC expanded into an Ohio University building that also houses facilities for the Russ College of Engineering and Technology. The building has a training facility for up to 50 people as well as videoconferencing capabilities.
