Vision Ohio Implementation Phases and Timelines There are a number of activities moving forward concurrently that are associated with implementation of Vision Ohio. These activities, the phases of development, timelines and participants are presented below: - Phase I: 11/04-6/05
Articulation of Mission, Vision, Core Values, and Major Goals - Phase II:7/05-11/05
Comments invited during scheduled public hearings and open forums. - Phase III: 9/05-6/06
Implementation Teams develop action plans and accountability measures for attainment of goals of Vision Ohio. Colleges and Departments revise strategic plans to align with the goals of Vision Ohio. Budget Planning Council reviews relevant fiscal policies to align with the goals of Vision Ohio. - Phase IV: 7/06-8/06
Executive Implementation Team reviews, consolidates, and prioritizes the recommendations from the Implementation Teams. President and Provost review priority recommendations of the Implementation Executive Team. Resources Implementation Team presents options for new budget process. Colleges complete quality measures by discipline. - Phase V: 9/06-11/06
President and Provost meet with Executive Team, Resource Team and Deans to finalize Vision Ohio priorities, budget model and quality measures. Vision Ohio academic plan and associated reports circulated to campus and community and discussion meetings held with constituent groups. - Phase VI: 1/07-Ongoing
Periodic formal review of progress toward goals and goal revision based on analysis of accountability and quality measures
