Academic Success

Many students experience some form of academic difficulty during their college careers. Sometimes first-year and transfer students struggle academically as they try to adjust to the demands of university life. For some students, academic difficulty may be minor, occurring only as they struggle with those one or two courses in their entire curriculum that prove most challenging for them. For others, academic difficulty may be more severe and/or long lasting. Whatever the situation, this website is designed to assist you in understanding your academic status and to help you identify resources that can assist you in overcoming the barriers to your academic performance. We want you to succeed.

Ohio University is interested in and committed to your success. To that end, we require all first-year students who are placed on academic probation to complete an Academic Success Workshop
