Majors Fair 2014
Wednesday, September 17 • 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. • Baker University Center Ballroom

With a hundreds of major, minor and certificate options at Ohio University, determining an academic path can be both stressful and challenging for students (regardless of class year!). Current and prospective OHIO students can get help with this decision by attending the annual Majors Fair, which will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, September 17, in the Baker University Center Ballroom.

The event will give students an opportunity to explore the more than 270 majors that the University offers. The Majors Fair is also a great opportunity for students who have already determined a major to explore minors, certificates, and experiential education options. Deans, assistant deans, and faculty will be present to provide students with information and to answer questions about the selection process.

Encourage students of any class year to attend this Fair. If they are decided on a major, it is a great opportunity to explore minors and certificates. If students are undecided and need guidance, there will also be academic advising and career coaching professionals at the Fair for on-the-spot assistance related to this “major” decision.

High school students: On September 17, Undergraduate Admissions will include additional information sessions led by admissions staff and campus walking tours led by current student guides. Visiting students can have the traditional campus visit and experience the Majors Fair all in one day. Register at http://www.ohio.edu/admissions/visit/specialprograms.cfm.
