Nomination for Chair


The Chair of UAAC is responsible for providing leadership to the Executive Committee of the Ohio University Academic Advising Council.  Specific responsibilities include attendance at two meetings per quarter:  the UAAC Executive Committee Meeting, at which time the agenda for the quarterly council meeting is established, and the UAAC quarterly meeting, at which the Chair serves as facilitator. Other duties may include participating in campus-wide advising discussions and events as well as attending relevant off-campus professional development events. The UAAC Chair appointment lasts for two consecutive academic years.

Please nominate one or more individuals whom you believe would make an excellent Chair of the UAAC (you may nominate yourself).  Provide name, department, contact information, and a brief statement explaining why this individual would be an effective leader for UAAC (such as commitment to advising, advising experience, involvement in advising related activities, and so on).
