The College of Business asked UCM for help in developing creative assets to promote an exclusive event for a small group of alumni at the World of Whirlpool Center in Chicago. UCM’s Creative Services Team developed a distinctive invitation package for the event.
The College of Business planned to host an event for a small group of alumni in the Chicago area. This event was to take place at the World of Whirlpool Center in downtown Chicago—an exclusive site, not for public use—and serve as an opportunity to reconnect with the College of Business and Ohio University. With this in mind, the college wanted something unique that would get a response. In short, they wanted to “wow” the recipients and make them want to attend the event.
UCM created a custom invitation package for the event. Because Whirlpool appliances are metal, and the event took place at the World of Whirlpool Center, we had aluminum boxes engraved with the initials “WOW.” The invitation also came with two tickets (labeled as V.I.P. passes) for an evening of wonderful foods and fine refreshments. In addition, the package included a booklet featuring a list of program events and a menu. The response rate of R.S.V.P.s was better than expected and the reaction to the design was extremely positive.
I am interested in promoting my Ohio University college/department/program through a printed piece, video, or website. Can you help me?
