Logos for use in print

Copies of the Ohio University signature and logo type are available in all the approved color combinations for both Windows and Macintosh platforms. These 300 dpi files are 4.5-inches wide and can be scaled down to minimum size (1.58-inches wide). These files cannot be scaled up. Larger sizes may be obtained by contacting Ohio University Communications and Marketing.

Files are available in the following formats:

EPS Format
Use these files in vector-based layout software (like Adobe Illustrator PhotoShop, PageMaker, or InDesign; Macromedia Freehand; CorelDraw; or QuarkXpress) to create newsletters, magazines, and other print publications. This is the preferred file format for placement in print publications.

Ohio University Logo Type (PC + Mac)
PC: Right-click and choose 'Save Target As...'. Save to hard drive, then open with appropriate application.
Mac: Click and hold, choose 'Download Link to Disk'. Save to hard drive, then open with appropriate application.

Ohio University Signature (PC + Mac)
PC: Right-click and choose 'Save Target As...'. Save to hard drive, then open with appropriate application.
Mac: Click and hold, choose 'Download Link to Disk'. Save to hard drive, then open with appropriate application.

TIF Format
Use these in word-processing software (like Microsoft Word or Word Perfect) to create memos, letters, and other word documents.

Ohio University Logo Type - PC
PC: Right-click and choose 'Save Target As...'. Save to hard drive, then open with appropriate application.

Ohio University Signature - PC
PC: Right-click and choose 'Save Target As...'. Save to hard drive, then open with appropriate application.

Ohio University Logo Type - MAC
Mac: Click and hold, choose 'Download Link to Disk'. Save to hard drive, then open with appropriate application.

Ohio University Signature - MAC
Mac: Click and hold, choose 'Download Link to Disk'. Save to hard drive, then open with appropriate application.

JPG Format
If you are having difficulty using either and EPS or TIF format file, you may want to consider using a JPG file. Primarily a Web graphic format, JPGs can work in such applications as Microsoft Word or PowerPoint.
