Supplemental Instructions (SI)

SI provides students in selected classes with free learning opportunities. These evening study sessions, held several times throughout each week, are led by undergraduate leaders who have already completed the course successfully. Leaders help students to master information by reviewing lecture notes, exam preparation, and improving study skills. These same leaders even attend your class!

Study Skills Instruction

AAC professional staff provides help with strategies for improving academic performance. One-on-one study skills tutoring appointments are available. Study skills tutors can help with:
•    Time Management
•    Concentration
•    Memory
•    Mastering Textbooks
•    Taking good notes
•    Reviewing lecture notes
•    Exam preparation
•    Reading speed and comprehension

Math Center

Students with specific math related questions could meet with a free Math Center tutor. Assistance is on a first-come, first-serve basis or in small groups. Tutors are available for 30 minute individual daytime appointments and evening drop-in sessions.

Math Center Hours:

• 30 Minute Individual Appointments (Tutoring Tables outside of Academic Advancement Center, 101 Alden)
  
• • Monday-Friday 10AM-5PM

• Evening Drop-In Sessions:
• • Sunday-Thursday 7-9 PM (Classroom K, Alden 101)
