New "MAILER" Script Now Handles Multiple Files
The new "MAILER" script has been updated to permit multiple files to be uploaded by the user and attached to the same e-mail.
This script replaces the old "OUVAXA" and "ILIAD" scripts (all three of these scripts take information through an HTML form and transcribe it into an e-mail message). The new script provides features, such as file uploading, that were not available with either of the old scripts. The old OUVAXA script and the ILIAD script have now both been permanently retired. If you were using either of the old scripts, please update your HTML immediately, the old forms do not work. The details are online, at

Goodbye Thunderstone, hello Google!
Our new Google Search Appliance ("GSA") has replaced the old Thunderstone search engine. If your pages use a standard ohio.edu-wide search, such as the one in the top-right of this page, then the search is already using the GSA. If your pages include a custom search that returns hits only from your subsite (such as the "search all IT pages" feature lower on the right side of this page), and you are still using the old Thunderstone search engine, you must change your code now: the Thunderstone system has already been disconnected permanently.
