WEB DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT AND PUBLISHING SEMINARS

DREAMWEAVER 8 INTRODUCTION

Macromedia Dreamweaver 8 is a powerful HTML editor for designing, coding, and developing web pages. Dreamweaver provides you with helpful tools to enhance your web creation experience. In this class we will create a static web page for a local site, add text, headings, images, and hyperlinks to the page. Finally, we will preview the page in our browser, and test the links.

Prerequisites: Knowledge of the Web and experience browsing the Internet.

Location: Computer Services Center, Room 114

We are currently not offering any group training on Dreamweaver. For questions, or one on one support, please contact Peg Ratajik at ratajik@ohio.edu.

DREAMWEAVER 8 ADVANCED

In the introduction seminar, you learned how to display information on a Web Page. If you want to receive information as well as give it, you can insert Forms in your Web design. With Forms you can add interactivity. In this seminar you will learn about Frames for Web pages. Frames are interesting because they can display multiple Web pages in a single browser window. They are most known for their use as navigational features on pages. Finally, in the introduction you added images. With JavaScript behaviors, you can bring your Web pages to life with animation and rollovers.

Prerequisite: “Dreamweaver 8 Introduction” seminar.

Location: Computer Services Center, Room 114.

We are currently not offering any group training on Dreamweaver. For questions, or one on one support, please contact Peg Ratajik at ratajik@ohio.edu.
