Information Technology Security Seminar (ITSS)
November 23, 2009
In 2008 ITSS provided an opportunity for sharing best practices, and concentrated on the basics of sensitive data. This year ITSS will focus on the facilitation of workshops that will determine the direction of how we classify data at OHIO University and how to monitor and secure systems.
ITSS will also offer the opportunity for staff to take part in the Secure Data Handling Seminar that was created by the OIT's Information Security Office as an assessment tool. This self-paced, hands-on session will begin with an educational review about data security and end with the opportunity to take the online, BlackBoard enabled, assessment. This is a hands on session.
