OIT to host Web development conference May 9, 2008 by Sean O'Malley On June 3, the Office of Information Technology will host the sixth annual "Spring 〈BR〉" web development conference in Baker Center. Faculty, staff and students with an interest in web design are encouraged to attend this one day event. Breakout session tracks will include:
- Design and user experience
- Web tools: tips and tricks
- Coding: ColdFusion, Java, PHP and ActionScript
- Web 2.0 in practice
- Vendor demonstrations: Adobe, WebAssist, PaperThin and BlueDragon
Discounted registration is available through May 30 at the conference website. Students can take advantage of special disocunt rates and attend the conference for as little as $5.00.
