Residence Hall Network Registration Postponed
April 2, 2008, - Based on beta testing results, the Office of Information Technology has decided to postpone requiring network device registration for OHIO's residence hall wired network.

Oracle Calendar Web login to change
March 19, 2008 - OIT's scheduled March 22 upgrade to the Oracle Calendar system will change the way Oracle Calendar's Web version handles logins. As a result, anyone who accesses their agenda via the Web will need to change their Oak password after Saturday's upgrade is complete.

Daylight Saving and Personal Computers
March 6, 2008 - Daylight saving time (DST) begins several weeks early this year, but most personal computer owners should not have to worry about updating their system clocks. Owners of older systems may have to adjust their clocks manually.

Network registration coming to residence halls
Jan 31, 2008 - To provide a safer and more robust network at Ohio University, the Office of Information Technology plans to begin requiring registration of all devices connected to the residence hall wired network in the coming months.
