For PC-Pine to work properly in Windows Vista, it must be run as an administrator. To perform these steps, you first must have a working copy of PC-Pine installed on your PC.
Right click the PC-Pine icon you will use when you want to run PC-Pine
Choose Properties
In the PC-Pine Properties window, choose Compatibility
Under Privilege Level, click the check box for "Run this program as an administrator"
