Requesting a project
- Anyone wishing to request a project with the Office of Information Technology must fill out a Project Request Form. Project Request Forms must be submitted to the Business Process Development Office.
- A project is defined as a request to OIT for significant work that will require analysis and ongoing effort. Currently, OIT is using an internal standard of 100 hours of effort (or more) for projects. Is your request a project? When in doubt, use the Project Request Form submission process described above. For small requests, contact the OIT Service Desk at 593-1222, or if you are an authorized user, use FootPrints to submit your request.
Checking Project Status
- To check the status of a project that has already been requested, view the Current Project List.
- Can't find your project in the Current Project List? Note the date range on the list: if your project was completed before the earliest date, or requested after the latest date, it will not appear on the list. The Current Project List is updated quarterly.
- For a look at how projects flow through OIT, view the Project Flow Chart.
