Do You Want to Work in TV or Film?

Why just read about it? Our classes get you out of your seat and behind the camera. You'll be learning on industry-standard equipment and software in real production studios and high-tech computer labs.

What Kind of Classes Will I Take?
 
The video production sequence provides an in-depth exploration of pre-production, production and post-production processes. In this course of study, you will produce short and long form programs for television and non-broadcast mediums. Video students begin with multi-camera television fundamentals, work through single camera field production, and complete their training with advanced digital post-production. Students also participate in a wide variety of extracurricular video productions including football games, basketball games, and parades.
 
 
What Kind of Work Will I Be Doing?
 
In the video sequence you have the option to take a variety of classes that will prepare you for a career in the video field. These classes prepare you for field work, studio work, editing and everything in between. Some of the work you will be doing will include a weekly tv show aired on OKTV, news reports and football games. You will also work in an editing classes creating scenes from your favorite movies or making mini-documentaries.
