S-Plus is a statistical software package. With each license purchased, future upgrades (new releases) are included at no additional charge. There will be no annual renewals to keep your S-Plus license current. Below is a list of available titles, platforms, versions and costs:

Departmental Licenses (University-Owned Computers)

• Windows Platform:
  • S-Plus with SpatialStats, EnvironmentalStats, Wavelets & S+FinMetrics Modules
    • Versions 8.0.4
    •  $100 per license (departmental account number needed)
    • $10 for CD set (or they can be borrowed)
      
• Solaris/Linux Platform:
  • S-Plus (Modules are not available for Solaris or Linux)
    • Versions 7.0
    • $50 per license (departmental account number needed)
    • $10 for CD set (or they can be borrowed)

Student Licenses

How To Obtain Software:

University Owned Machines (Athens & Regional Campuses)*

Note - The license agreement does entitle end users (faculty and staff) to obtain one license and use the software at home provided both machines (office and home machines) are not used at the same time. This is not for personal use but for assisting with work projects.

Student Use*

Athens Campus - Stop by Technology Depot, Baker University Center, 112 (Tech Depot Hours).  An OU ID is needed at the time of the purchase. 

*Installation CDs are loaned out for a 24-hour period. CDs can not be duplicated by user.
