A number of graduate assistantships and tuition scholarships are available
to students and are awarded on a competitive basis. Decisions about assistantships
are based on the same materials that are submitted for admission. An assistantship
consists of a stipend in return for work with faculty members for fifteen to twenty hours per week. A graduate recruitment scholarship (GRS) includes a tuition scholarship and entails about 6 hours of work with faculty per week. For more information, write to Dr. Debra Henderson, Graduate Director,
or visit Ohio University's financial assistance website.
