Active Teams
Executive Steering Committee
Provides full support to project and serves as the institutional champion for a complete analysis of the SIS replacement requirements. This committee will accept recommendations from the IT Leadership Council as input to a final recommendation to the Executive Sponsor.
Pre-Implementation Team
This group will work with pre-implementation partner Ciber to complete a fit/gap analysis, prepare a readiness assessment, and create a project charter. Pre-implementation will culminate with a presentation to the Board of Trustees in June 2008 that will include the project charter and a request for funding.
Inactive Teams
Implementation Team - TBD
This team will be established once a decision has been made to move forward with the new SIS Project.
Software Selection Team
The Software Selection Team was charged with recommending to the SIS Executive Steering committee the choice of software vendors and pre-implementation partners. Responsibilities included assessing vendor responses to the University's SIS requirements, attending off-site campus visits, and assisting with vendor negotiations.
Subject Matter Experts
This group will act as resources to assist in the understanding of the current business processes. They will provide specific detail regarding the daily business functions of the current SIS system and insight on issues affecting the current system.
