Dr. Jack Bantle, Ohio University Vice President for Research, will be our featured speaker. The title of his talk is "Will [Ohio's] new emphasis on economic development help or hurt basic research?"

Dinner: 6:45 PM

• Roast Pork Loin with dijon mustard sauce $21.25 (includes Cutler salad, red-skin potatoes, vegetables, dessert, and beverage)

• Seared Salmon Filet with lemon dill sauce -- $21.25 (includes Cutler salad, wild rice pilaf, vegetables, dessert, and beverage)

• Penne Pasta Primavera -- $20.00 (includes Cutler salad, dessert, and beverage)

The new initiates will be introduced and presented with their certificates of membership. We are initiating eleven individuals this year and a rousing turnout would certainly be in order!

Please send your reservations to Dave Diggle (E-mail diggle@ohio.edu or call 593-1522) . Include the number of individuals attending and your dinner selections. Your response is needed no later than noon on May 8th to allow The Inn to finalize preparations. Payment in advance would also be appreciated! Dave's office is in Stocker Center, Room 237.

We cordially invite the new initiates to dine at the Society's expense; however, all other guests -- members, wives, and significant others -- must be charged for their dinner selections.
