Scripps JSchool earns top ten ranking from College Magazine
Mention one of many program has received in 2012
ATHENS, Ohio (March 14, 2012)—College Magazine has recognized the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University among one of the top ten accredited schools of journalism in the nation.
According to its website, College Magazine is written by students and for students. It was founded by 2007 University of Maryland graduate Amanda Nachman under the advisory assistance of the University of Maryland’s Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship.
This nod comes on the heels of two other recent votes of confidence. In late January, the school was listed as one of the top 20 in the nation on the College Media Matters blog sponsored by the Associated Collegiate Press.
The school was also featured in the January-February 2012 edition of Corriere Della Sera’s Style Magazine, an Italian magazine. The article “Designers and journalists – here would be the creative ones” features eight “top programs” around the world. The E.W. Scripps School of Journalism is the only American program included.
