Ohio Communication Hall of Fame

The Ohio Communication Hall of Fame was established by the Scripps College of Communication at Ohio University in 1993. The Hall of Fame honors professionals who exhibit lifetime professional achievement. Each honoree must have a tie to Ohio (either the state or the University).

In 2003, the Joan Herrold Wood Award for Lifetime Commitment was established as part of the Hall of Fame. This award honors Joan Herrold Wood and other donors who have had a positive and lasting impact on Ohio University.
