About Us
The Department of Residential Housing would like to let you know about the recent changes to our office. The former departments of Residence Life & Off-Campus Living and the Housing Office have come together to form The Department of Residential Housing. The administrative offices of the department are now centrally located in 060 Chubb Hall.
Position Descriptions and Staff Roster (as of August 11, 2008) for your reference.
As always, we appreciate our collaborative relationship with you.
The Department of Residential Housing has committed itself to the development of the residential student at Ohio University through its five goals of health and saftey, scholarship, student development, citizenship and diversity. To accomplish these goals, Residential Housing relies on a staff of eight central, 32 full-time and graduate, and over 250 paraprofessional staff members.
In an effort to give life to the goals, the central staff creates an annual "theme" that relates in some way to the goals and serves as a symbolic reminder of the purpose of our work. The residential campus and Residential Housing staff are divided into three "Greens" (East, South, and West,) each with a distinct culture and small-campus atmosphere.
