Imgur Wins Best Bootstrapped Startup, Sees 1 Billion Pageviews Per Month

Here at the 2011 Crunchies, Imgur, the photo-sharing site made popular by the Reddit community, won the category of "Best Bootstrapped Startup." And given the traffic numbers the startup is seeing, it's easy to see why. According to Founder Alan Schaaf, the site sees 30 million uniques per month and a billion pageviews.

Flare Code to make an appearance in Ohio University's newspaper this week

QR codes are coming to the Ohio University's student run newspaper, The Post. These codes are not the kind that people are becoming familiar with, however. The codes that will show up in The Post this week are Flare Codes. These custom QR codes come from a student-owned company by the same name. Flare Code seeks to conglomerate digital content into a single social network based entirely on QR codes.
