Coaching
Among the most valuable resources the Innovation Center offers is their cost-free access to an on-site Entrepreneur-In-Residence (EIR). Matt Strader, current EIR, serves as a coach for early-stage businesses by providing business management assistance expertise and advice to clients at the Ohio University Innovation Center. Providing an outside perspective can assist companies in overcoming common hurdles that young businesses commonly encounter. Assistance topics include: writing an effective business plan, making financial calculations, conducting market research, and documenting strategies for growth.
Our coaching process also provides companies with a goal-oriented approach to give structure to their growth. Establishing both short and long-term goals provides a way of tracking and sharing progress along the way, which can be quite motivating. It keeps businesses focused and accountable for their progress on their path to success.
Matt is also part of TechGROWTH Ohio, an organization providing access to financial capital as well as an extensive network of local and state business contacts/resources.
You don’t have to start your business alone. Let the Innovation Center add fuel to your bright idea and develop it into a successful business!
