Conflict of Interest (COI)

All Ohio University faculty and employees must complete a conflict of interest form before receiving grants from an external funding source.  The form, which must be completed annually, helps the university ensure that all research activities are in compliance with federal, state and university policies. COI training is available through the CITI training site

Additional information can be found here.

Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR)

The Office of Research Compliance also monitors responsible conduct in research matters. Note that some federal grant programs, in particular the National Science Foundation, require RCR training.  RCR training is available through the CITI training site.
