Need research funding? November workshops offer tips

Nov. 6, 2012

Faculty, staff and students interested in applying for university sources of research funding are encouraged to attend November workshops designed to provide helpful information about the OURC awards, Baker Fund and Student Enhancement Awards. These programs offer support for research, scholarship and creative activity.

Workshops will be held between Nov. 15 and 29 in Alden Library (see detailed schedule below). Each of the funding programs has deadlines in January and February.

Ohio University Research Committee (OURC)
Competitive awards of up to $8,000 provide seed money for faculty and staff to pursue new research and creative activity projects.  Priority is for new faculty and staff or established faculty pursuing projects that are a clear departure from previous research foci.

Proposal deadline: Thursday, January 31, 2013, 4:00 p.m.
