See Combined Exam Schedule Classes with the first meeting day of the week on Monday/Wednesday/Friday:
Classes with the first meeting day of the week on Tuesday/Thursday:
Note: Classes that meet longer than 55 minutes Monday, Wednesday, or Friday, or longer than 80 minutes Tuesday or Thursday and/or span more than one of the "time of class" blocks on the charts above (e.g., a lab course that meets 9:40-11:30) will examine at the date and time of examination based on the class start time (i.e., the first block). If the class does not start at the exact time as one of the blocks, it will examine at the date and time of examination for the block immediately preceding the start time (e.g., a 9:40-11:30 lab that meets on Tuesday will examine during the Tuesday/Thursday 9:00 a.m. block). It is the responsibility of the instructor of these classes to check with the Office of the University Registrar to determine if a conflict exists and, in the case of a conflict, to work out an acceptable time with the Office of the University Registrar. Classes meeting for two hours will be examined according to the Schedule of Examinations for the first hour: Example: 7:30 a.m. - 8:50 a.m. Tu Th class will be examined on Tuesday, December 11, at 8:00 a.m. When conflicts occur, the instructor, in consultation with the students, will change the examination hour for the individual student(s) to another time within the examination period. Unless a combined sections examination has been previously arranged by the instructor, students are not permitted to be examined with another section of the same course. Multiple Final Examinations - Resolution Adopted by Faculty Senate March 12, 2012 Students may not be required to sit for more than three final examinations in one day. Should a student be scheduled for more than three examinations in one day, the student may seek relief from the instructor with the examination scheduled latest in the day. This process must be initiated and completed by the beginning of the 13th week of the semester. The instructor will provide an examination for the student at a mutually agreed upon time during the examination period. |
