The scheduling division of the Office of the University Registrar is responsible for maintaining the curriculum for the University, producing the Schedule of Classes, and publishing the undergraduate catalog. The division also schedules many of the rooms on campus, both for University departments and for student organizations.
Reserve a Room

The Office of the University Registrar oversees the scheduling of all classrooms on the Ohio University Athens Campus for Ohio University activities (including classes and noncredit activities by university departments, faculty, staff, and student organizations). To reserve a classrooms through the Registrar's Office, you must agree to the terms of usage.
Ohio University's Event Services oversees the reservation of space in Baker University Center and several other special event spaces at the university. Event Services also is responsible for reserving space on behalf of individuals not directly affiliated with Ohio University. Additionally, some small conference rooms, meeting rooms, seminar rooms, or laboratories are scheduled by individual departments.
To reserve a classroom, submit a request online at astra.ohio.edu, by choosing the "Request an Event" link in the center of the page and using the University Department Room Request Form. You will be notified via email once your room reservation is confirmed or if additional information is required. For more detailed information, view the Room Reservation Instructions document.
Same day requests, next day requests made after 4:30 p.m., and weekend requests made after 4:30 p.m. on Friday may not be submitted online. To make this type of reservation, please call 740.593.4188, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Official Student Organizations
Classrooms may be reserved only by student organizations that are officially registered with Ohio University's Campus Involvement Center. To reserve a classroom, submit a request online at astra.ohio.edu, by choosing the "Request an Event" link in the center of the page and using the Student Organization Room Request Form. You will be notified via email once your room reservation is confirmed or additional information is required, and the president of the organization will also be notified. Student organizations may request classroom space in advance of the semester starting, but requests will not be reviewed and confirmed until at the week prior to the semester start. Once a semester has started, room requests for that semester will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Same day requests, next day requests made after 4:30 p.m., and weekend requests made after 4:30 p.m. on Friday may not be submitted online. This type of reservation must be made in person at the Registrar's Office, Chubb Hall 112, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

The Master Curriculum File is maintained by the Office of the University Registrar, and updated files are made available online three times per year. The reports can be viewed at http://www.ohio.edu/registrar/mcf.cfm.
Error corrections can be made at any time. The Office sends a communication once a year to request academic units to review completely their content for errors. Corrections should be sent to Vicki Dornbush at email@example.com or 740.597.2573. If you have changes that are not corrections, they will need to be approved through University Curriculum Council.

Beginning with the 2007-08 Undergraduate Catalog, the Office of the University Registrar assumed responsibility for maintaining and updating the undergraduate catalog in an electronic format. Starting with the 2008-09 academic year, no printed undergraduate catalog is produced. The graduate catalog is maintained by the Graduate College and the medical catalog is maintained by the Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine.
