Classroom Scheduling

The scheduling division of the Office of the University Registrar is responsible for maintaining the curriculum for the University, producing the quarterly Schedule of Classes, and publishing the online undergraduate catalog. The division also schedules many of the rooms on campus, both for University departments and for student organizations.

Faculty/Staff

To reserve a classroom contact the Registrar's Office at (740) 593-4188, scheduling@ohio.edu, or Chubb Hall 112.

Official Student Groups

Classroom reservations must be made in person at the Registrar's Office, Chubb Hall 112. If your student group is not recognized by the University, contact the Department of Campus Life, Baker University Center 355. Student groups must register their organizations every year. Student groups may schedule rooms only for the current quarter. Rooms may not be scheduled for any quarter prior to the first day of classes for that quarter.

Outside Organizations

Outside organizations must contact the Office of Conferences Professional Development at (740) 593-1764 to reserve a classroom.

Schedule of Classes Changes (Department/School Staff Only)

NOTE: This is a tool for department/school staff only. This is not a way for students to modify their schedules.

To make a change to your department/school schedule, use the Schedule of Classes Modification Request Form or contact the Registrar's Office at (740) 593-4188 or Chubb Hall 112.

Curriculum

The Master Curriculum File is maintained by the Office of the University Registrar, and updated files are made available online quarterly. The reports can be viewed by clicking one of the links below:

Error corrections can be made at any time. The Office sends a communication once a year to request academic units to review completely their content for errors. Corrections should be sent to Shirley Triplett at kaslers@ohio.edu or (740) 597-2573. If you have changes that are not corrections, they will need to be approved through University Curriculum Council.

Additionally, the Office of the University Registrar maintains a comprehensive list of Tier III equivalent courses, as approved by the University Curriculum Council. For a list of active, Tier III equivalent courses, click here.

Undergraduate Catalog

Beginning with the 2007-08 Undergraduate Catalog, the Office of the University Registrar assumed responsibility for maintaining and updating the undergraduate catalog in a new electronic format. Starting with the 2008-09 academic year, no printed undergraduate catalog is produced. The graduate catalog is maintained by the Graduate College.
