Come explore the Sells Park Boulders for a day trip that will rock! We will climb and hike around beautiful southeast Ohio; you will see flora and fauna, as well as water features along the way. Our experienced guides will give you an experience never to forget! For beginner to advanced climbers.

Come explore the Otter Creek Wilderness Area in West Virginia with Outdoor Pursuits! This trip will provide the experienced hiker with opportunities to explore a unique valley. On 20,000 acres, this area is managed for natural conditions, primitive and rugged. The trails are unmarked and many of the vistas hidden from view--locating them lends to a sense of discovery and adventure! Previous backpacking experience preferred.

Introduction to Whitewater Kayaking Trip

Ever wanted to try whitewater kayaking? Here's your chance! Come hang out on the river for a weekend and learn basic river skills including strokes, river reading, assisted rescues, or even more if you're up for it. This is a great, low risk introduction to the sport of whitewater kayaking, not to mention a great way to meet people around a camp fire. See you on the River!.

Old Man's Cave Day Hike Trip
Cost: $12 each trip
When: Saturday, October 24 and Wednesday, November 11, 11am-5pm
Where:Hocking Hills (meet at the Outdoor Pursuits Rental Center)

Join Outdoor Pursuits on a 7 mile day hike through the Old Mans Cave region of Hocking Hills State Park. This area is scattered with a variety of geologic features, including waterfalls, sandstone cliffs and rock formations. A great day to spend with your friends!!! Meet at the Rental Center at 11:00am ready to go! All skill levels welcome.

 

Rappelling Clinic and Trip --OU Challenge Course and Hocking Hills State Park

Join Outdoor Pursuits for an evening of basic rappel training at the Ohio University Challenge Course followed by a full Saturday of rappelling off the sandstone cliffs of the Hocking Hills Rappelling and Climbing areas. Participants will learn basic techniques, rigging and safety skills working their way up to the 114 foot overhang at Bent Tree. All skill levels welcome.
