Learn to Swim
Bobcat Cubs program is an American Red Cross Learn To Swim program (click here for more information). As an Authorized Provider with the local American Red Cross, our lead instructors are Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certified and teach to the American Red Cross standard.
The Bobcat Swim Club program has something for everyone interested in swimming. From the beginner to the master swimmer, this program offered high quality professional coaching and instruction for all ages and abilities. The goal of this program is to provide every participant with an opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success at an individual level of ability.
Bobcats program is a USA Swimming program designed to constantly grow and train young swimmers to maintain a well rounded competitive swimming team. Through attendance in USA Swimming competitive events under the guidance of certified coaches, swimmers were develop their skills and abilities in this life long sport. Bobcat Masters is a USA Masters program designed for swimmers with a wide range of abilities and interest. Created for swimmers 18 years and older, this program will assist in the stroke development and overall fitness levels. Under the direction of a certified coach, practices are designed around the individual abilities of the swimmers. Click here for Bobcat Masters information.
Beginner swimmer or seasoned veteran, the Bobcat Swim Club has something for every ability and skill level. The club is under the direction of the Aquatic Director for Ohio University Aquatic Center, a Department of Campus Recreation. Come join us for this the best of lifelong sports. “Who says cats can’t swim?”
