Deans’ Evaluations: Process, Security, and Anonymity

As in the past, Institutional Research staff will aggregate the responses and compile the written comments for each evaluation committee.  In keeping with the guidelines of the Faculty Handbook, we are taking appropriate measures to ensure security of the process and anonymity of the responses.

By clicking on the link in the email from the Executive Vice President and Provost, you will be redirected to a secure Web server and asked to provide your OHIO ID and password. This is a security measure only to enable you to gain access to the evaluation, and your OHIO ID will not be recorded with your responses.

In addition, there is a randomly-generated ID number with this link. This is another security measure needed to prevent duplicate and invalid responses; the ID number will not be associated with your OHIO ID or your email address. (The email list used to generate this message has been deleted.) Altering the ID or deleting it will prevent your evaluation from being recorded for analysis.

Because the unique ID number is assigned to you and you alone, please do not forward the email that you received to any of your colleagues. This will result in duplication of your completed survey form and duplicate completed survey forms will not be counted for analysis.
