Ohio University Presidential Search Committee
MINUTES
April 16-17, 2004 - 3:30 p.m.

The Presidential Search Committee voted approval unanimously on a motion presented by Board of Trustees Chairman Walter, and moved by Mr. DeLawder with a second by Ms. Perry to hold an executive session to consider personnel matters as permitted by Section 121.22(G)(1) of the Ohio Revised Code on this 16th day of April 2004.

Those attending were : Board of Trustees and Committee Chairman Robert Walter; Shelly Storbeck and Monisha Lazier Kaplan, AT Kearney; Tara Stuckey, Student Trustee; Michael Willits, president, Graduate Student Senate; Hugh Bloemer, associate professor, Geography and chair, Faculty Senate; Josephine Bloomfield, associate professor and director of graduate studies, English; Tom Davis, professor and chair, counseling & higher education and chair, Intercollegiate Athletics Committee; Madeleine Scott, professor and director, School of Dance; Shawn Ostermann, associate professor and assistant chair, electrical engineering & computer science; Kathy Krendl, dean, College of Communication; Dan Evans, dean, Southern Campus; Terry Conry, director, Facilities Management; Charlotte Eufinger, chairperson, Foundation Board; Bick Weissenrieder, chairman of the board, Hocking Valley Bank.

Prospective presidential candidate interviews were held. The meeting returned to open session at 5:30 p.m. on April 17 and adjourned shortly thereafter.

The next meeting of the Presidential Search Committee is tentatively scheduled for April 27, 2004 in Dublin, Ohio.
