Dr. Robert Glidden became the nineteenth president of Ohio University on July 1, 1994. Dr. Glidden took his academic degrees, all in music, from The University of Iowa: the B.A. in 1958, the M.A. in 1960, and the Ph.D. in 1966. President Glidden has been active in national higher education affairs for more than twenty years, particularly in the arts and in accreditation.
