To receive a certificate in political communication, you must complete
POCO 2010 (Introduction to Political Communication) and POCO 4010
(Seminar in Political Communication), as well as 15 semester hours from
the courses listed below. No more than two courses from any one
department and not courses from the major study area can be counted
toward the certificate.
A Political Communication Certificate is awarded upon completion of the
requirements and graduation from the University. Notation of the award
is recorded on your transcript. Consult the director of the Political
Communication Program before the deadline for graduation to ensure
that the certificate will be awarded.
