This company is also the leader as an internet carrier. UUNET offers "Internet access, web hosting, remote access, virtual private networking, managed security, and multicast services." The parent company of UUNET is WorldCom INC. WorldCom is a leading telecommunications company.

From 1987 to the present this company had worked to increase the networking speed and to developing the market of the internet world. In the year 2000 this company "upgraded the U.S. network to OC-192 (10 gbps) using Juniper Networks Inc.'s new M160 routers." Today this company is one of the leading internet speedsters.
