Hello World! My name is Travis Huddleston. I am an IT Helpdesk Specialist for Chipotle Mexican Grill. I have always been interested in computers and how they work. I've learned a lot of what I know from my dad who is a programmer. I think programming is one of the most fascinating things about computers. It's like looking into a brain and seeing how it works; even better, being able to create thoughts for the computer. That sounds a little odd, to put computations into human terms, but thats how I like to think computers operate. The more I can "think" like them, the better programmer I can become.

I hadn't known programming was my thing. Every time I asked my dad to explain what he was doing, it went completely over my head. It wasn't until I took Intro to Programming with Professor Wolfe that I realized it was something I really enjoyed doing. To me, it's as artistic as you can be on the computer.... other than doing actual art, of course. You get to create a program that can compute on its own to dynamic (user-input) variables. You get to create the experience for your end user; meaning you can make the program look as business-like or aesthetically pleasing as possible. To me, that is art.

The last thing I would like to talk about is hobbies. After reading the previous paragraphs, I'm sure that you won't be surprised to know that I am a huge fan of video games. I know that a good book can transport you to a place far away. However, video games can immerse you into the story completely. Don't get me wrong, I love to read. But there is something about a video game with a fantastic story that I cannot get enough of. Some people dont see the allure in them, but they're my favorite form of storytelling. Perhaps it's not the medium we should be concerned about, but the storyteller behind it.
