Here is a shot from Spring Quarter 2007 of OU students on the Mönchsberg looking over to the Old City in Salzburg, Austria. You can see spires and domes from Salzburg's many churches, the Festung (fortress) towering above, and the Alps in the background.
Salzburg is the site of Ohio University's Spring Quarter Study Abroad program, for which you - as a student of the 200 level German series - are eligible! (If you were to go to Salzburg this year, you would take GER 212 in the Winter and then take GER 213, 341, 342, and 349 in Salzburg, completing your language requirement and earning 12 hours that count towards a German major or minor!) Follow this link for more information about the program.
