Willkommen in Deutsch 113 !!

Here is a shot from Spring Quarter 2007 of OU students on the Mönchsberg looking over to the Old City in  Salzburg, Austria.  You can see spires and domes from Salzburg's many churches, the Festung (fortress) towering above, and the Alps in the background.

Salzburg is the site of Ohio University's Spring Quarter Study Abroad program, for which you - as a student of the 100  level German series - are eligible!  (Most Salzburg participants who take GER 113 in Fall Quarter take 211-212 in Winter Quarter and then take GER 213, 341, 342, and 349 in Austria, completing your language requirement and earning 12 hours that count towards a German major or minor!)  Follow this link for more information about the program.
