- Dxxx: Remedial and Learning Communities
- 1xxx: Tier I and Beginning Level
- 2xxx: First Courses for Math Majors
- 3xxx: Intermediate Undergraduate
- 4xxx: Advanced Undergraduate
- 5xxx: Courses at the beginning graduate level. Undergraduate
prerequisites are not listed, but may be assumed.
These courses may be crosslisted with undergraduate courses.
- 6xxx: Courses that are
appropriate for Masters students but not undergraduates. They should
have a 5xxx prerequisite if a course on this subject exists. Several
of these courses prepare Doctoral students for their comprehensive
examinations.
- 7xxx: Special topics courses at the Doctoral level.
- 8xxx Special topics courses at the Doctoral level.
