HW6 - Books

How I feel I enjoy reading Jodi Picolt books. Unfortunately, since I've been in school I don't get to read as many as I would like. This past Winter break I was able to read "Sing Me Home". I finished the book in less than 2 days, it was wonderful. Here is a link to Jodi Picolt books. Along the scroll at the top you can see other books of hers that I have read. If you are into books that pull at your heart strings, I suggest reading Jodi's books!

I'm also enrolled in English 306J for the 2nd summer session. Challenging since I only get 4 weeks to complete a regular 10 week course. We have to ready two books in class, the first is "My Life as Laura: How I searched for Laura Ingalls Wilder and Found Myself". This is a non-fiction story about the author's love of the "Little House on the Prarie" books and her search to find herself as she follows the Ingalls' path West.

The second book we have to read is called "Party Girls" this is a book full of short stories about women. The author is a full time chef and this is her first book. I haven't started reading the book yet, but will soon because I have a presentation I have to do the final week of summer quarter!
