The hand printed etchings on multicolored poured images made of cast paper pulp are truly reflections on moments attempting to be re-formed and re-presented as statements on the essence of time and reality. The work is presenting itself back to me as a reflection. They are tenuous and yet emphatic. I feel taken when I am working on these images, engaged and not capable of being distracted. I suppose if water washes away all traces of existence, then I, as the papermaker, am panning for gold. The moment when I find it the image is complete.
