Video Activities for Spanish 211/212/213

This quarter, you will watch three video clips related to themes from the Más allá de las palabras program. First, you will need to print the pdf version of the video activity from the "Read, Study, Practice" section of WileyPLUS. (After you enter "Read, Study Practice," click on the corresponding chapter and scroll down to "Instructor-Provided".) You will complete the activity while viewing the corresponding video clip, also accessible through "Read, Study, Practice" in WP ("Video Links"). Viewing is easier if you ENLARGE THE VIDEO CLIPS ON YOUR SCREEN:

PC: Right click on the video link and open with Quicktime.
MAC: Control click and a menu will appear - click on "open with Quicktime"
There are additional ways of opening the files directly with Quicktime, which is what you'll need to do to view them in a larger format.

Each activity begins with an "antes de ver" section, which you should complete thoughtfully before watching the corresponding video clip. You will complete the remaining exercises as you watch, and you will probably have to watch the clip at least once for each exercise. Repeated viewing will make you a better listener in Spanish, so plan to spend some time on this assignment, preferably on at least two different days.

Dates for turning in the exercises are clearly indicated in the homework instructions on the syllabus. Each set of exercises is worth 2% of your final grade for the course.
