Hello, and welcome to my website! Currently, I am a senior at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio earning a BS in Meteorology. I am originally from Wadsworth, OH near the city of Akron in the Northeastern part of the state. I am currently president of Ohio University's Local Chapter of the American Meteorological Society and also a member of Gamma Theta Upsilon, Ohio University's Honors Society in
Geography. Since the summer of 2009, I have served as a forecaster for the Scalia Laboratory for Atmospheric Analysis, Ohio University's very own student run public forecasting service. I have served as a teaching assistant at Ohio University for Introduction to Meteorology, Introduction to Synoptic Meteorology, and Advanced Synoptic Meteorology.
In the summer of 2011, I was hired on as a research assistant under Dr. Ryan Fogt analyzing the relationship between the Amundsen-Bellingshausen Seas Low and large scale climate. In his free time, Kyle enjoys getting outside to run, mountain bike, and (attempting) to play a wide range of sports.
