*   Web Exercises

o      While preparing for this project I was able to gain insight into what exactly goes into building a web page from the ground up. I started with this simple page, and was able to progress to what you now see… still learning! I have also included a sample page from one of the websites that greatly helped in my ability to design this page. I hope you find this information as useful as I did.

*   My Favorite Web Sites

o      Of the many websites that I frequent I find that EBay is where I spend most of my computing time. I have been able to purchase many obscure things from the site that fit my obscure tastes. Among my finds on EBay, a Casablanca Lithograph, two gold Frank Sinatra records, a vintage Nintendo NES, and some aluminum cups (the colorful ones from grandma’s house that kept the milk so cold)! Although EBay isn’t the place to go if you need something today, with some patience you can find just about anything at better than average prices. Next EBay purchase – an 8 track player for my car (they still sell new ones!). Check it out.

o      The next website I frequent is the website of the one and only Cleveland Browns. What can I say; I have a thing for the underdogs (GO CUBBIES)! This website has absolutely nothing wrong with it with exception for the need to broadcast all games with a live video signal (for free of course). Other than that modest request this site contains everything you need to keep up on the Browns.

o      The website frequented third highest by this web connoisseur would half to be the official Ohio University website. I wish this wasn’t the case, but with email from professors, paying tuition, and registering for classes, this site is a must. The site is designed well and contains lots of useful information, just not free live Browns broadcastsL! Check out OU here!
