In June of 1998 I received a bachelor's degree in interpersonal communication with an organizational communication major track, office technology related field and English minor.
Interpersonal communication is sort of a combination of psychology, linguistics and sociology. Organizational communication closely examines interpersonal communication processes within organizations, including hierarchical, electronic, metaphoric, etc. The office technology field contributed a practical foundation for working in an organization.
People interested in or already pursuing a similar degree may find my

Additional links on those pages will lead to more information on theories. Also, you can check out the School of Communication Studies (formerly Interpersonal Communication) at Ohio University.
